Gnocchi Cream and Salmon

A very popular recipe in the 90's but you know the classics never die! So... come on!

Dumpling dough: Potato dumpling

Ingredients for 4 people: 

  • Gnocchi 400g
  • Salmon 100g
  • Cooking cream 90ml
  • White onion 1/2
  • Butter 20g
  • Vodka 20ml
  • Evo Oil
  • Fresh parsley a tuft
  • Salt and pink pepper qb
  • Dried chilli (optional)
Procedure:

Let's boil a pot of salt water for the gnocchi, either homemade or bought, the rule is that when they come to the surface they are cooked.
We prepare the salmon slice, removing the skin and cutting it into strips 1cm x 3cm.
Finely slice half a white onion and put it in a pan with 10ml of evo oil and 20g of butter, let it brown slightly now add the salmon in strips, brown on all sides and then blend with 20ml of vodka, moving the pan to deglaze everything and help evaporate the alcohol.
We throw the dumplings in the pan about 400g for 4 people, but I know you will double the dose😄.
Add the cream to the salmon and season with salt and pepper, let it simmer for a few minutes and then add the dumplings and stir-fry for another minute.
Let's plant and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
