Matcha Tea Chocolate Truffles

Delicate little white chocolate truffles flavoured with Matcha tea, perhaps to accompany a cup of Japanese green tea.

Ingredients for 12 pralines
  • Fresh cream 100ml
  • White chocolate 200g
  • Butter 25g
  • Macha tea powder 20g
Procedure:
 
In a small saucepan bring the 100ml fresh cream to the boil, remove from the heat and add 200g of white chocolate chopped into small pieces beforehand.

Melt well and add 25g of medium quality butter, stirring continuously until well blended.

Transfer to a bowl and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours to regain consistency, when the rest with a spoon take some of the dough and with the hands round it into balls of 2 cm in diameter.

In a bowl put 20 g of soluble matcha tea powder, pass the truffles one at a time, making as much powder as possible and put them in a nice bowl ready to be enjoyed.
